Brief Introduction
It is a universal excellent antioxidant for natural rubber, synthetic rubber and latex. It has excellent protective performance against ozone and flexion cracking. It is also an excellent antioxidant for heat, oxygen, light and general aging. It is often used to manufacture products with high dynamic static stress, such as aircraft and automobile tires, bicycle tires, cables, hoses, tapes, cots and other industrial rubber products. This product is polluting and should not be used for light colored rubber products.

Brief Introduction
Photoinitiator 2959 has been tested and can be used in UV curing formulations for wood, metal, plastic and paper surfaces. The hydroxyl functional group in the molecule improves the solubility of photoinitiator 2959 in the formulation of waterborne coatings. Photoinitiator 2959 has lower volatility and odor than photoinitiator 1173. Importantly, the active hydroxyl group of photoinitiator 2959 is easily grafted onto the polymer molecule, making its processing more convenient. Due to its unique properties, photoinitiator 2959 is especially recommended for UV formulations that need to evaporate water through high temperature and air flow before curing.
